Intel Sponsors TADHack

intelWe are proud to announce that Intel will be sponsoring TADHack Global 13-14 June, their focus will be IoT (Internet of Things). As their tagline goes, ’The Internet of Things starts with Intel Inside(R).’ Intel helps connect things to the cloud, integrate with existing infrastructure, and securely manage data. Louise Summerton, EMEA Ecosystem Sales Director at Intel, commented “We’re excited to be involved in TADHack, it’s a great event that brings together the global community of developers focused on communications, a foundation of IoT. We anticipate amazing mash-ups across our technology and that of the many other TADHack sponsors. This is going to be a unique world-first event.”

But more than sponsoring, Intel will also be running TADHacks in Istanbul and Israel. The Istanbul location will be at Kolektif House which is close to Intel’s IoT Ignition lab in Istanbul over the weekend of 13th and 14th June. After the success of TADSummit last year, we have a large community of developers based in and around Istanbul wanting to be involved in TADHack, and Intel will ensure Turkish developers have an opportunity to showcase their talent on a global stage. It’s a great win:win for the Turkish developer community, who came out in force for TADSummit.

Intel will also be running TADHack Israel, benefiting from being hosted at the Microsoft Ventures Israel site in Herzlia Israel on the 12th and 13th June (with the closing session on the 14th). Israel is a world-renowned center for communications technology, the innovative developers and its disruption to new markets, e.g. Viber was founded there. Intel is also about to launch the newest IoT Ignition lab in Haifa as part of its commitment to this growing community.

All the involvement and support Intel is providing to TADHack mean there will be four $1k Intel prizes: two global prizes to be allocated across all hacks, and 1 prize each for TADHack Istanbul and TADHack Israel.
