Thanks to everyone who has registered so far for TADHack-mini London 11-12 April, keep those registrations coming. Its going to be an amazing, packed event, with a diverse (and hence creative) mix of developers.
We have a number of remote entries to the event. I wanted to highlight one being planned by an Indonesian start-up called Wootag, founded and run my Raj Sunder, who attended the first ever TADSummit event in Bangkok back in 2013. Raj previously spent 14 years as a developer, working for Indian and Indonesian corporations like Tata, Virgin Mobile, and Bakrie Group (where I got to know him).
Wootag’s interactive video platform allows you to add tags to any video, so viewers can interact while watching the video, and Wootag measures the performance of such campaigns. We show below an example of a ‘Wootagged’ video, see the little blue dots in the play-out bar, its Apidaze’s how-to developer resource video. Now, imagine the possibilities of using WebRTC with those tags 😉 We’re looking forward to the hack Raj creates 🙂
We highlight this to give you a flavor of the amazing ideas you’ll see at TADHack-mini London, but also to show that cool ideas come from all around the world. You can learn more about Wootag from this TechinAsia interview.
