Telnyx TADHack Detailed Review

Telnyx TADHack delivered impressive hacks built on Telnyx’s fully integrated AI voice stack, leveraging global telephony, dedicated AI infrastructure, and highly customizable APIs to rapidly build scalable, natural conversational experiences.

We review all the hacks created at Telnyx TADHack in this article. This results will be delivered later today.

Calmmi by Sabrina, Orlando USA

The first hack submitted was Calmmi by Sabrina Inczedy Pagan an undergraduate student from Valencia College. TADHack has worked with Valencia College since 2017, in particular Professor Jerry Reed and Professor Ian O’Toole. Valencia’s software engineering school is a great group of people, with students who possess a much broader set of skills and experiences than you find at most engineering schools.

Calmmi is an AI-powered wellness tool designed to support people living with anxiety. Inspired by Telnyx’s AI Assistant Builder and vCon data, this prototype showcases how emotionally intelligent voice, video, journaling, and breathing features can create a more comforting digital experience.

The hack is built using Synthesia, Canva, and Replit for demo purposes.

BTW, Sabrina was the first hack submitted for vCon TADHack, 2 weeks earlier. For many of the hackers, by the end of June, they’ve spent the whole month of June working on the latest voice technologies, vCon and VoiceAI, with prizes and internships to demonstrated their achievements. More on that soon. They have immense stamina!

Multi-language Voice Survey by Elizabeth, Kenya

Elizabeth Mwangi created a multilingual survey AI that detects the language of the user and conducts engaging surveys in the respondent’s preferred language and gathers meaningful customer feedback.

Silent Guardian by Pedro, South Africa

Silent Guardian a voice assistant that listens during calls and can spot secret code-words that mean someone is in danger. When it hears one, it quietly sends an alert with the person’s location. This helps people ask for help safely without raising suspicion. Created by Pedro Muttenda, based in South Africa.

Echo is a browser-based AI tour guide that interacts with users in real-time using Telnyx’s WebRTC and AI Assistant. It adapts based on your location, storytelling preference, and engagement level — providing immersive, voice-driven travel experiences right from your phone.
