The IIT (Illinois Institute of Technology) Real-Time Communications Lab in the School of Applied Technology is excited to be hosting a Satellite event for the Telecom Application Developers Hackathon (TADHack ) from 9:00 AM Friday, June 6 to 11:30 AM Saturday, June 7 in the Idea Shop on IIT’s Main Campus.
TADHack is a global event to help developers discover the latest ways to add communications to their applications, services, and business processes, while competing for 30K in prize money. It is unique because it brings together all the relevant telecom application development tools and technologies in one event for both education and competition.
By offering participants the opportunity to hear from expert speakers from around the world; explore amazing new technologies; and meet the international community of telecom app developers innovating in communications, the objectives of TADHack are highly consistent with the research and educational goals of the IIT RTC Lab, and the annual IIT RTC Conference. TADHack will be live-streamed from Madrid, Spain enabling teams to compete in parallel at remote Satellite events, such as the one we’ll be hosting at IIT’s Idea Shop.
TADHack participants are free to work on ideas before the event, as well as generate ideas at the event from all the networking, so there’s no pressure during the event. We would prefer you have fun, network, and discover lots of exciting possibilities made possible through TADHack. If you’re unable to attend the main event in Madrid, we hope you’ll join our TADHack Satellite in Chicago next month.
If you would like to help with the organization of this event at the IIT Idea Shop, please contact Warren Bent, warrenbent@inchargesys.com or Carol Davids, davids@iit.edu.
